NETWORK FLOW

Point Vop Mapping

Network Map Explanation(Step Wise)

Step

1 - created a circle and extruded it inwards with the inset.

2 - based on the effect intended, 3 different sets of scatter nodes are created to cater the needs depending on the number of points required for each effect.

3 - a UV attribute was created in order to map the geometry from inner circle to outer circle with the rows and column texture type

4 - 3 different point VOP nodes are created for producing different noise patterns with different frequencies, amplitudes, offsets and colors

5 - They are later merged for a cool slow portal effect.

Particle Simulation 2 used to illustrate Portal like Effect

NETWORK FLOW

Network Map Explanation(Step Wise)

1 - created 2 concentric circles of different radii.

2 - merged them and created a geometry using the skin node

3 - a UV attribute was created in order to map the geometry from inner circle to outer circle with the rows and column texture type

4 - The geometry is then used to scatter points on it using the scatter node.

5 - with the uv attribute in place it is used to drive the color, position and later the noise pattern and bias based on the relative position of points to the inner and outer circle.

6 - 2 different point vop nodes are created to create the same effect but in the opposite direction and different color and speed.

7 - the 2 effects are later merged together for the illusion of them warping around a cylindrical object creating a portal like effect.
